San Jose performer gets lucky break in 'Waitress'
Ryan Ballard will tell you he's one lucky young man. Just a year out of college, the San Jose native landed a role in the ensemble of the national touring company of "Waitress," Sara Bareilles' musical inspired by Adrienne Shelley's 2007 film.
