It seems fitting that two of Joe DiPietro's works are having a moment right now. While the vehicles may be vastly different " one a lush Broadway musical, the other a four-person play " at their hearts, they tell similar stories, that of women who stood up for themselves and what they believed in, and left an indelible mark on the world.
