What went awry at the Rep By Karen D'Souza
The San Jose Repertory Theatre -- which is asking the city for a million-dollar bailout -- has a recent history of failing to rein in expenses and relying on donors to get out of trouble, according to tax records and interviews with current and former board members, supporters and former Rep management.
