'There is always hope': How a childhood dream became a reality for Jonathon Heyward, the BSO's new musical director by Mary Carole McCauley

As a high school senior in 2010, Jonathon Heyward wrote that his "huge overall dream is to become music director of a major symphony orchestra." That dream becomes real in September with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.
