Rosebud
The familiar musical strains of the 1949 film The Third Man accompany the estimable Christian McKay onto the stage at 59E59 Theaters, and for a moment, the music along with his character hat and trench coat focus us onto the film's character Harry Lyme rather than on Welles himself as the play's title Rosebud: The Lives of Orson Welles would lead us to expect.
