INTERVIEW: SAM WALTERS The artistic director of the Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond talks to Carole Woddis about what it feels like to be the longest-serving head of a theatre in the country, and about his venue, which began as a pub theatre and then in 1991 moved across the road into a converted church which houses the only purpose-built theatre-in-the-round in London.
