Follies Enjoys Highest-Grossing Week of Any Stephen Sondheim-Scored Musical in Broadway History
The week of Sept. 19-25 was a particularly good one for The Kennedy Center's critically acclaimed production of James Goldman and Stephen Sondheim's Tony Award-winning musical Follies, which officially opened at Broadway's Marquis Theatre Sept. 12 following previews that began Aug. 7.
