Monster Mash: Gil Cates dies at 77; Occupy L.A. protestors create new art
Gil Cates, the founder and producing director of the Geffen Playhouse, died on Monday at age 77. Protestors at Occupy LA have created art on two large wooden fences that the city has built to protect a historic fountain and memorial near City Hall.
