Bernice/Butterfly - Review
The first act works better than the second, but both acts are well-crafted and rewarding, skillfully balancing comedy with tragedy and benefitting from complex, fully-developed characters and colorful prose. And each act has strong, affecting acting, courtesy of Ceal Phelan in act one and Peter DeLaurier in act two.
