Coterie shrinks 'Mattress' but keeps its charm
"Once Upon a Mattress," playing through Aug. 5 at the Coterie Theatre, is a trippy, colorful and acerbically comic piece. Artistic director Jeff Church has condensed it to a one-act running time that is suitable for young audiences and put together an exceptionally talented cast.
