'Oedipus' and 'Moment': What keeps us on the edge of our seats?
I saw two shows over the last few days that had me and many of those around me on the edge of our seats. Director Chay Yew's production of Luis Alfaro's "Oedipus el Rey" at the Victory Gardens Theater and director Jonathan Berry's production of Deirdre Kinahan's "Moment" at the Steep Theatre are very different pieces of theater, but they have at least one thing in common. Both are riveting shows.
