50th New York Film Festival Kicks Off Sept. 28; Festival Includes "Little Shop" and Tribute to Nicole Kidman by Michael Gioia

The 50th New York Film Festival, which spotlights the development of international film art and contemporary trends in content, form, and style, kicks off Sept. 28. The 2012 festival continues through Oct. 14.
