"Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical" in Chicago
This stage musical adaptation, conceived by the estimable Jack O'Brien for San Diego's Old Globe Theatre and, later, Broadway, deserves some credit for trying to stay true to Seuss.
