According to whatsonstage.com the blockbuster film LES MISERABLES has surpased 'Mamma Mia' as the biggest ever opening weekend for a movie musical in the UK. The film, which just picked up a Golden Globe Award for Best Film, brought in a record-breaking three day total of 8.13 million, beating Mamma Mia's record of 5.2 million in 2008.
