This Picnic is Lacking: I love the movie Picnic with William Holden, Kim Novak and Cliff Robertson. It was full of young hot lust and longing, the need to connect and not to be alone while portraying small town America. Holden and Novak sizzled despite the age gap. The play by William Inge won a Pulitzer.
