Black family struggles to rise in 'A Raisin in the Sun' play
First produced on Broadway in 1959 and recognized as a classic today, Lorraine Hansberry's play about a black family seeking its way up the ladder of success to achieve the American Dream can still move audiences. "A Raisin in the Sun" is a natural for Eastern Nazarene College's African American theater majors, said director Tara Brooke Watkins.
