The Off-Broadway musical The Sphinx Winx, was planned for a 12 week run but is closing after seven weeks. Wanting to be like a Sid Caesar version of the retelling of Anthony, Cleopatra and Marc Anthony, it, in a word, fails. The book by Philip Capice, Anne Hitchner and Robert Keuch is just mindless.
