Three theatrical luminaries have been appointed special places in the royal order of the British Empire, with DBEs being awarded to legendary stage and screen star Angela Lansbury, noted choreographer Gillian Lynne and noted actress Penelope Keith by Queen Elizabeth II earlier today.
