The Pittsburgh CLO is currently presenting a top-drawer production of the musical, directed by Robert Cuccioli (who was nominated for a 1997 Tony for playing the title role). It's easy to get caught up in the story of the doctor, driven by grief for his hopelessly mentally ill father, searching for the root of evil in man.
