Greta Gerwig Will Ride The Village Bike, Replacing Maggie Gyllenhaal
Screen star Greta Gerwig has been tapped to replace Maggie Gyllenhaal in the American premiere of Penelope Skinner's The Village Bike. As previously reported, Gyllenhaal left the off-Broadway production due to scheduling conflicts. Performances of the MCC Theater production will begin May 21 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.
