'Young Frankenstein': Mel Brooks' madcap monster mash comes to the Beck
The monster patiently awaits his cue wearing a pair of orange shorts and pontoon-sized flip-flops. Soon Christopher Aldrich, who plays the world's most famous green creature -- Kermit being a close second -- will don his "monster boots," those iconic, fat-soled elevator shoes, and fling villagers across the stage. (He's 6-foot-5 without the footwear. With the boots, he's just shy of 7 feet.)
