Theatres are Safe: Facing Objections, LPC Drops Proposal to Shorten List of Potential Landmarks by Carey Purcell

Following objections from preservationists, the Landmarks Preservation Commission dropped its proposal to remove 100 historic structures, including five Broadway theatres, from its oversight, according to the New York Times.
