Theatre Royal, Windsor: Written by Steven Blakeley, this adaptation of the much-loved tale mixes all the usual comedy ingredients with a rather eloquent core central story. The production may be a little short on special effects but behind the mayhem of familiar knockabout routines and some dynamic choreography from Dede McGarrity, the atmosphere crackles with the drama of a great script.
