Towngate, Basildon: This production marks Simon Fielding's eighth pantomime at the Towngate as director, choreographer and co-producer. With the additional credit of performer - he also stars as Buttons - this is very much Fielding's gig but, rather than an ego trip, Cinderella is arguably one of the best independent pantomimes of the season.
