Today in 1998, the second Broadway revival of Caberat opened at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre then renamed the Kit Kat Klub, where it ran for 2377 performances. Cabaret is a musical based on a book written by Christopher Isherwood, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb.
