Deborah Zoe Laufer's Informed Consent officially opened Aug. 18 at the Duke on 42nd Street, following previews that began Aug. 4. The play examines the many possibilities of genetics research and begs the question: If we could know everything about our genetic make-up, including potentially life-threatening diseases, would we chose to do so?
