Louis Philip ("Bud") Deffaa, 95, father of TheaterScene's Editor-at-Large Chip Deffaa, died Dec 20, 2018

He attended Lehigh University. He enlisted in the Navy and served in and around China during World War Two. After the war, he married Alberta Saby of Allentown, Pennsylvania; they were married for 68 years, until her passing in 2014.
