Broadway Performers Head to the Streets During NYC Blackout by Broadway Direct

Early Saturday evening, a blackout struck much of midtown Manhattan, including most Broadway theaters. As a result, performances were canceled that evening. But that did not stop Broadway performers, as they headed to the streets to greet fans with impromptu performances.
