Stories of racism, historical erasure from silhouette artist Kara Walker launch NBMAA's year of women by Susan Dunne

A series of 15 artworks by Kara Walker, which address the issue of black identity and historical erasure, are on exhibit at New Britain Museum of American Art. The museum is dedicating 2020 to women artists.
