New civil rights musical at TheaterWorks shows how protesting has changed in 50 years by Christopher Arnott

TheaterWorks Hartford is opening its new membership-based season of monthly online theater shows with a staged reading of a new musical, "At the River I Stand," about the 1968 Memphis Sanitation Workers Strike and how that landmark civil rights movement changed is perceived today.
