35+ Stage Performances to Watch This Weekend February 19-21
On Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET, the Congress for Jewish Culture celebrates Purim with a dramatization of Itzik Manger's MEGILLAH CYCLE, a collection of Yiddish poems updating the Biblical story of Queen Esther to Eastern Europe in the 1930s. Broadway vet Mike Burstyn directs and stars alongside neo-Yiddish theatre regulars Shane Baker, Eli Batalion, Jamie Elman, Avi Hoffman and Eleanor Reissa.
