PHANTOM OF THE OPERA Horror Musical Film Set In New Orleans In the Works at Universal

Produced by Harvey Mason Jr. and John Legend, the film will incorporate jazz, funk, and soul music, mixed with the French Creole culture, voodoo magic, masquerade of Mardi Gras. It will follow a young ingenue who is mentored by a mysterious old man while singing in a New Orleans nightclub.
