First seen in 1972, Alan Ayckbourn's ABSURD PERSON SINGULAR is a serious comedy set in three different kitchens over three successive Christmases, all involving the same set of characters. As in many of Ayckbourn's plays, the air is alive with the sound of contrivance - rather than anything resembling truth.
