Bob Olson, theater designer, dies at 65 By Peter D. Kramer

Nyack native Peggy Eisenhauer took what she learned from Olson and went to Broadway, where she won two Tony awards for lighting designs ("Assassins," "Bring in 'Da Noise, Bring in 'Da Funk"). Long before that, she was the 13-year-old Nyack tomboy whom Olson nicknamed "girlie."
