PLAYBILL ON-LINE'S BRIEF ENCOUNTER with Nicky Silver

The tart and funny playwright Nicky Silver is now a Broadway librettist with his book for the Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of The Boys From Syracuse. The zippy George Abbott-Rodgers-and-Hart romp, drawn from The Comedy of Errors, sports a Silver lining, meaning Abbott is axed and wickedness rules.
