THE catty world of the New York City Ballet was meowing up a storm last week when principal dancer Robert La Fosse told a table of ballet patrons at Tuesday's opening-night gala at the New York State Theater that he is leaving the company because he doesn't think the supporting cast is "worthy" of him.
