Philadelphia Inquirer: Song cycle takes wing in dramatic presentation by Douglas J. Keating

When Adam Guettel's Myths & Hymns song cycle was presented in New York a couple of years ago, it took the form of a concert. The Prince Music Theater, where Guettel's successful musical Floyd Collins was produced in 1999, was interested in presenting it, but producing director Marjorie Samoff wanted what she called "a more realized treatment."
