'Christmas Carol' a dickens of a show
The Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera is putting on a brand-new Christmas show this season: "A Musical Christmas Carol." Yes, this is the 20th year the group has performed the "play with music" based on the Charles Dickens' book "A Christmas Carol" that was published way, way back in 1843. But it's all brand-new to the children who've never seen or read it.
