GSA BA (Hons) Acting Showcase, Criterion Theatre, London by Susan Elkin

Criterion Theatre, London: This slick, well-planned showcase gives us a nice mix of comedy, tragedy, monologues and some pleasingly paced dialogue. Its 21 items showcases in 60 minutes, the work of just 20 students - a much more sensible number than in some other recent showcases - of whom 11 are male and nine female. And there is real scope to see what they can do - which is the whole point of a showcase, of course…
