BBC and Writers' Guild agree new terms to cover writers in a "digital age"
A new payment system for TV writers whose work is watched on the BBC iPlayer has been agreed by the BBC and the Writers' Guild of Great Britain, which it has been claimed brings contracts "fully into the digital age".
