'Wonderland' never finds its way on Broadway by Joe Dziemianowicz

"Wonderland," which opened Sunday night at the Marquis Theatre, takes a cue from the film version of "The Wiz" and makes Alice (Janet Dacal) an unhappy grownup. There's potential to make the story here sing, but both its pop score and pop psychology end up sounding trite.
