Today, we're featuring Peter Firth circa 1981. Following the National Theatre's production of Peter Shaffer's Equus at the Old Vic in 1973, Firth appeared on Broadway as Alan Strang in 1974. The performance earned him a Tony nomination. Firth also starred in the 1977 film adaptation of Equus, for which he was nominated for an Academy Award.
