Green Day Cancels Appearances Through 2012; Concert Dates in 2013 Will Be Postponed by Michael Gioia

Rock band Green Day, whose Grammy Award-winning album "American Idiot" inspired the Broadway musical of the same name, has canceled their remaining 2012 appearances, including the rest of their club tour that was due to launch Sept. 26 at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle.
