'Smash' competing at Globes as comedy/musical, at SAG as drama
After making an effort at the 2012 Emmy Awards in the drama field, "Smash" will now be entered into the comedy/musical categories at the next Golden Globe Awards. Also, none of the regular cast members - including Debra Messing and Katharine McPhee - will be competing as leads.
