Oscar Winner Julian Fellowes Will Write and Produce "The Gilded Age" Period Drama for NBC by Michael Gioia

Julian Fellowes, the Drama Desk Award-nominated book writer of Disney's Mary Poppins and creator of "Downton Abbey," has signed on to write and produce a new period drama for NBC, according to Deadline.com.
