Carole King Is Winner of Gershwin Prize for Popular Song by Kenneth Jones

Pop singer-songwriter Carole King — known for the songs "You've Got a Friend," "I Feel the Earth Move," "Natural Woman" and more — is the 2013 recipient of the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song, Librarian of Congress James H. Billington announced on Dec. 13.
