The Singing in the Academy of Music's "Les Mis" Puts the Film Version's to Shame by J. Cooper Robb

Film and theater are entirely different mediums, and comparing Les Mis's current incarnations is difficult"and perhaps unfair. That said, with the possible exception of Hugh Jackman's performance as hero Jean Valjean, in every case, the singing on stage at the Academy is far superior to the vocals featured in the Tom Hooper film.
