Canadian dramatist George F. Walker gets a major American spotlight with the American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) world premiere of his dark comedy Dead Metaphor. Directed by Irene Lewis, the play, which officially opens March 6 following previews that began Feb. 28, satirizes "the hypocrisies and politics of postwar living."
