Remember the time when Washington saved 'Hello, Dolly!'? by Nelson Pressley

Well, hello again, "Dolly!" It has been nearly 50 years since Carol Channing and a dazzling cluster of high-stepping waiters found their footing in the pre-Broadway tryout of a shaky new musical called "Hello, Dolly!" at the National Theatre.
