Actor and director was fixture on Sarasota stage by Jay Handelman

For more than 15 years, Sarasota audiences could count on seeing Jack Eddleman on one stage or another. After a career on Broadway, in opera and in regional theaters and national tours, he settled in Sarasota, where he frequently worked as an actor, singer and director. He also stirred some controversy during a brief stint as a theater critic.
